The director believed in comedy which didn't work out. The movie is slow and the dialogues don't impress us. Some characters are seeming to be extras in the film. There is no strong villain element too. The historical part has come out so well but doesn't fit in the film. We couldn't see Sivakarthikeyan as a mass hero and he also didn't convince us to believe so.
Samantha has impressed us with her Silambam skills. Soori has worked hard and has six-packs in the movie, but the screen play couldn't elevate his scene. Cinematography has been handled nicely in the film. Locations in a duet song catches our eyes. Songs are normal and not so much catchy.
There are many logical flaws in the movie. The social message about agriculture has been squeezed into the movie. We could see the hard work of the whole team in the historical part.
