Number 9 is this adorable duckling skin! When I saw it, I knew I had to include it here - my favorite part about this precious character design is the lighting. The highlights make the skin look cheery and bright, like the character is perpetually standing in the sun. I especially like the asymmetry on the limbs, making it appear as though one half of the character model is wrapped in a mesh under-clothing. The messy seam between the two halves of the skin gives an intermingling effect that makes either side feel like competing fluids - water and oil, two liquids that can never truly mix.
Something that I find so precious about our skin for number 6 is the shading on the shorts that give them a puffy, bloomer-esque look. The rosy knees and the low ponytail are extremely cute, and the warm lime green is so pleasing to the eye. This feels like a character design out of an urban fantasy comic. The casual, common, modern-day clothing blended with the more fantastical touch of the glowing eyes and gems makes me want to write a story about this plucky teen and their adventures.
